![]() The process for designating an article as a good article is intentionally. I am getting the very strong feeling that this version of Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Mac is quite buggy and not very useful. Adding good and featured articles and lists together gives a total of 46,700. Ran the Full Scan again, left the Mac running, came back an hour later and Kaspersky had minimised itself and halted without logging except to say that it had stopped. Kaspersky didn't apparently start although the preferences said it would. I asked Kaspersky to perform a "Quick Scan", which apparently examines only some of the current user files which it completed in under 10 minutes and found nothing. It aborted again, this time without leaving any notification in the log! ![]() so I quit twhirl plus everything else and started again. However Kaspersky Mac took two hours to scan 1% (allegedly), maybe it niced itself, then it was "stopped" as it was scanning Adobe's airglobal.swc. After some unnecessary steps I was asked to submit logs but the email itself didn’t inspire confidence in that process being any more helpful. I opened a ticket directly after the MacOS 12 update when this first happened. I thought giving the free trial a go at my hard drive would be a fair deal, can't hurt to try it (I hope!). I have the Internet Security plus the VPN service, think it was a bundle. This M1 chip is also equipped with HDMI 2.0 display video output which will give Support for one display with up to 4K resolution at 60Hz. You should be OK if you have plug-ins that ask approval before running javascript/flash etc, and you're smart about it. However, there are web exploits that will silently infect a MS Windows machine just by viewing the page, so I would imagine that the possibility exists that there are similar exploits for OS X. Yes, I think Kaspersky is afraid of their shrinking market, particularly when the free Microsoft anti virus appears to rank quite well.
